I have been good the last week+. I've been eating healthy, watching my portion control. I have even been working out every week day. And the result?

Back again

Another Monday in a lifetime of Mondays. Good thing I am the only one who reads this so-called Weight Loss Blog or I'd be mighty embarrassed!! Well, not really I guess. It is a journey after all.

So, after taking off most of December, I gained a few pounds over the holidays.

Today's Weight: 180.5

Today The Watts Family all started a new healthier-living challenge. Sadly we could all afford to lose a few pounds - or more. I have gained back all but 8 pounds of the 25 I lost. I swore I wouldn't let this happen, yet here I am. Now, to be fair to myself, I struggled with those 25 pounds for a LONG time and I am still not sure why I struggle so much to lose the weight, even when I feel like I am doing so well. In the Fall I did the program at the Y and I was working out every single weekday for 8 weeks, with no weight loss on the scale. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to have my measurements done at the end, so I am not sure how that would have compared.

Anyway, I am starting anew, it doesn't matter that it is for the umpteenth time!! My goal is to lose at least 15 pounds by the time I go to the Epicure Conference in the beginning of April. And I want to be at goal by my 40th birthday - March 13, 2011. I am back to the gym, 5 days a week, and watching my calories and portion control. I know I can do this on my own!!!
